i-ACTIV AWD®

Where most all-wheel-drive systems wait for traction to fail, i-Activ AWD® does the opposite, monitoring steering angle, throttle input, and wheel speed to distribute torque before slip develops. That means you get grip on wet pavement or loose surfaces without making any adjustments yourself, as the system reads the road ahead of you.

i-ACTIVSENSE®

Mazda groups its available driver-assistance features under the name i-Activsense®, comprising systems such as lane departure detection, forward collision warning, and blind spot monitoring. These systems run in the background, extending your awareness into traffic angles and road situations that are harder to track through the mirrors alone.

Skyactiv®-Technology
