2023 MAZDA CX-5 Trim Level Comparison
With eight different trims to choose from, it might seem difficult to keep your options straight when buying a 2023 Mazda CX-5. That’s why we’ve put together this handy guide to walk you through how each trim compares.
MAZDA CX-5 2.5 S Trims
It’s easiest to break these eight different trims into two categories: S and Turbo. The first has several variations. The Mazda CX-5 2.5 S is the base model. It comes standard with i-ACTIV AWD®. From there, each trim builds on more standard features.
- 5 S Select — One step up with heated front seats
- 5 S Preferred — Comes with leather seats and a power moonroof
- 5 S Carbon Edition — Exclusive Polymetal Gray Metallic paint and 190inch Black Metallic Finish alloy wheels
- 5 Premium — Dual body-colored heated side mirrors and paddle shifters
- 5 S Premium Plus — Bose® 10-speaker surround system and heated seats
All of these models pack the same 2.5-liter, 187-horsepower engine under the hood.
MAZDA CX-5 2.5 Turbo Trims
The final two trims are both turbocharged, with the slightly more powerful 227-horsepower version of the 2.5-liter engine. Along with the faster engine, they offer a few more additional features. The 2.5 Turbo comes with the signature Gloss Black grille and wireless phone charger. The 2.5 Turbo Signature is the top-of-the-line trim. It features Nappa leather-trimmed seats, a 360-degree view monitor, and genuine layered wood trim.
