These Air Fryer Desserts Are 10/10

At this point, you’ve probably attempted a ton of recipes in your air fryer: chicken, french fries, roasted veggies, and maybe even a pizza. However, we’re willing to bet the one thing you haven’t attempted yet is dessert. In all fairness, it’s not really what you think about when you picture an air fryer. Let’s change that mindset though, and take a dive into these decadent dessert recipes that you’ll for sure enjoy!

Apple Pie With a Twist

Apple pie is about as traditional of a dessert as they come. But have you ever attempted putting that stuffing into an eggroll? Oh yeah, it’s just as amazing and unique as it sounds. The ultimate beauty of this recipe is that the air fryer takes the time down to only 25 minutes.

Start by preheating your air fryer to 400°, and then making your filling mixture. Next, spread cream cheese onto each eggroll wrapper and top with your filling. Roll ’em all up and bake in batches for 5-6 minutes, then flip for 5-6 more minutes. Roll the completed treats in remaining cinnamon sugar, and serve with caramel sauce.

Lemon-y Delicious Cookies

Believe it or not, you can and should make cookies in your air fryer! A great recipe to start out with is these Lemon Slice Sugar Cookies. They combine the sweetness of sugar with the tartness of lemon for a truly amazing treat.

Make your dough by combining all of the ingredients (see full directions here). Divide the dough in half, roll each half into 6-inch-long rolls, and then place in the fridge for 3 hours. Preheat your air fryer to 325°, then cut your dough to bake the cookies in the greased basket for about 8-12 minutes. Let them cool for 2 minutes after baking. Make your drizzle mixture with confectioners sugar and lemon juice, then pour on top of the cookies.
