If you’re looking for a fun and fanciful way to keep your little ones occupied this summer, consider a day camp set amid vibrant flower fields and beautifully landscaped oases. Designed to inspire and delight young imaginations, Fairy Tales in the Gardens is a week-long, fantasy-themed day camp for children ages 4 through second grade. The excitement kicks off July 22 through 26 at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

Books and Blooms

Fairy Tales in the Gardens takes its inspiration from some of the most beloved children’s stories of all time. This fantasy-filled week will bring to vibrant life the characters and events from stories by the Brothers Grimm, Beatrix Potter, and Hans Christian Andersen. Under the leadership of instructor Erika Poe, who has a B.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, day campers will exercise their imaginations as they explore the magic of the surrounding gardens and woodlands.
The camp is limited to 15 participants, so hurry and register your child to secure their spot for the week of July 22 through 26. Cost is $160 for members (Hydrangea Level and above), $200 for non-members.
